Mr. Davis is a Senior Vice President in the Private Equity Group at 50 South Capital. He primarily is responsible for sourcing, evaluating and executing secondary investment opportunities, and also is involved with buyout, credit and venture capital fund investments and co-investments. He also participates in fundraising and portfolio management activities.

Prior to joining 50 South Capital, Mr. Davis was a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group ("BCG"), a global management consulting firm. At BCG, Mr. Davis advised large financial institutions on organic growth strategies, operational improvements and M&A opportunities. Mr. Davis particularly focused on new disruptive technologies and was a founding member of BCG's FinTech team. Prior to BCG, Chip was a Credit Portfolio Manager within Northern Trust’s Corporate Banking Group where he was responsible for the underwriting and financial analysis of a diversified $1.7B loan portfolio comprised of over 50 corporate borrowers.

Education & Associations

Mr. Davis began his career with Northern Trust in the Rotational Development Program. Mr. Davis received his B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from DePauw University.

Outside of work Mr. Davis enjoys playing golf, scuba diving and traveling the world with his wife.
