Mr. Balkan is the Chief Investment Officer at FourSixThree Capital. Most recently, Mr. Balkan was a Portfolio Manager and Head of Credit at PointState Capital. Previously, he worked at Silver Point Capital. Prior to that he was a Managing Director at Citi, where he was Head of Distressed Credit for North America and Japan from 2012-2014 and Head of Investment Grade from 2008-2012. Prior to that, he was a Partner and Portfolio Manager in charge of single name credit at Archeus Capital Management. He started his career at Morgan Stanley, where he traded corporate bonds and was one of the industry’s early traders of credit default swaps.

Mr. Balkan is a graduate of Princeton University (1997) with an A.B. in Politics and a Certificate in Economics.
